ONLINE Resources

As a growing Christian, I have discovered many online resources that have helped me in my own spiritual journey. They have encouraged and educated me in my faith, In more ways than one, they have made my faith even stronger against forces that wish to completely dismantle it!

ANSWERS IN GENESIS

Growing up as a bit of a science nerd, one of the biggest stumbling blocks in my faith was the supposed “scientific inaccuracies.” How could the story of Noah’s ark be true? How could half the events described in the Old Testament have been possible?

Answers in Genesis, a Christian apologetics organization started by Ken Ham, has sought to answer these questions. With a headquarters, a museum, and an educational tourist attraction based in Kentucky, the ministry of Answers in Genesis has reached far and wide across the nation.

LIVING WATERS

Evangelism has always had bad reputation behind it. Between the door-to-door “Bible thumpers”, street-side sign wielders, and the occasional screaming sidewalk preacher, it’s hard to have any respect to evangelists.

Enter Living Waters. Founded by Ray Comfort, the ministry of Living Waters seeks to inspire and equip other Christians in fulfilling the Great Commission and “proclaiming the Gospel to the nations.”

With resources like Bible tracts, training, and answers to common arguments that are found when evangelizing, Living Waters is certainly a helpful resource for Christians new and old.

“Cross-Examined” with Frank Turek

Apologetics are an interesting field in Christian Theology. Adopted by many theologians and evangelists, apologetics is a religious discipline for defending the validity and truth found in Scripture.

Inspired by 1 Peter 3:15, the main goal in apologetics is to equip others in “being prepared to make a defense for the hope that is in us.” In a world of thousands of conflicting ideologies, a defense is much needed for Christianity these days.

A former atheist, Frank Turek hosts many presentations and lectures regarding the arguments against Christianity and the defenses that can be found when facing those arguments. His website CrossExamined.org offers resources and content regarding these defenses.
